GLENN ELTON ESTESS, SR., 84, of Mountain Brook, Ala., passed away on February 7, 2012.

 

Glenn EstessGlenn was a great friend of Rotarians here in East Tennessee and around the world. He served as president of Rotary International in 2004-2005; his theme -- in Rotary's Centennial year -- was "Celebrate Rotary." Among the many other roles in Rotary, he served in 2009-2010 as chair of the Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees. Click here for more information about Glenn.

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, from 5-7 pm at Brookwood Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 10, at 1 p.m. at Brookwood Baptist Church.

Pursuant to section 13.020.12 of the Rotary International Bylaws, having received no challenging nominations to the candidates of the district nominating committee for governor-nominees for Rotary Year 2013-2014 & 2014-2015, I hereby declare Ray L.
