NOMINATIONS FOR DISTRICT GOVERNOR FOR 2013-2014

Suggestions from district clubs for qualified candidates for District Governor for 2013-2014 are being sought and accepted by the District Nominating Committee. The suggestion must be submitted on the district form “Suggestion for District Governor for 2013-2014” and the “Governor-nominee Data Form” must also be included with the suggestion.

 

Qualifications for a District Governor include:

  • a member in good standing of a functioning club in the district;
  • must have served as president of a club (in this or another district) for a full term;
  • must have been a member of one or more Rotary clubs for at least seven years at the time of taking office;
  • must demonstrate knowledge of the qualifications, duties and responsibilities of governors;
  • must demonstrate willingness, commitment and ability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the office of governor. (RI By Laws, 15.070-15.090)

Nominations must be received by the Chair of the Nominating Committee no later than December 22, 2010, and are to be submitted to:
